Tromsø

As I mentioned in my previous posts I went to Tromsø with the Metropolis team for 3 days!

Tromsø is about 1000-1500 kilometers far from Stavanger in the north!It's a charming little city surrounding with mountains and fjords! (I know most of the Norwegian cities are like this). I was pretty tired during the three days cause the sun came up at 10 am end went down around 2pm but from the second day it was cloudy, rainy and almost as dark as at night! So actually there wasnt any daytime during my stay! Its difficult to get used to it!

It was a teambuilding and observing trip at the same time, as we checked two big youthclubs in the downtown of Tromsø wich are both really popular among the kids.

We stayed in one of the newest hotel of Tromsø called The Edge!

On the first day we went to a club called Driv, to have a meeting with the leader of the place.
It's a cafe and a concert hall but much bigger than Metropolis.
They usually have famous perfomers so if you are in Tromsø and wanna see some great concerts it's a good idea to check the program of Driv!
After the meeting we chilled out a bit and went to a restaurant at the top of the mountains.

...and I was pretty excited cause the sky was clear so we had the chance to see the 

Northern light!

And yeeessss, finally I've seeeeen it!!!!

We ate our reindeer steak peacefully and then the waitress told us to go outside immediately cause the light is comming! It was growing bigger and bigger and danced in the sky like a dragon!

Unfortunately with smartphone it's almost impossible to take normal pictures of it, but if you have a good camera it's easy to catch it!

Next day we went to Tvibit, another nice youthclub! This one is more like Metropolis but their specialization is filming!

And they have just started a big project to rebuild an old firestation to a cultural center! It seemed interesting and I'm sure it will be cool!

This night we had our dinner at the hotel, of course with some norwegian specialities! Unfortunately I forgot the name of the fruit that I tasted but it was sourer than lemon! Even though it was delicious with caramel and vanilin!

On the way back we almost missed the shift at Oslo but finally we got home safe and on time:)

Na úgy döntöttem, hogy gyakorlom kicsit az anyanyelvemet és magyarul is írok egy bejegyzést!
Mellesleg elképesztő humorom is jobban lehet így élvezni!
Stavanger egy szuper hely! Azt hiszem ez eddig is nyilvánvaló volt, de nem árt többször megismételni.
Kezdek beilleszkedni a munkahelyeken is bár a norvég kicsit nehézkesen megy. Fura dialektusban beszélnek az emberek és nagyon gyorsan. Azt hittem jobban fog menni a beszéd, de egyelőre csak makogok és azt is elég lassan. Emiatt elég ideges is vagyok mert tudom hogy tudom, de mégse. Tavaszra remélem menni fog!

Eddig jó volt az idő is úgyhogy sokat futottam. Kb heti kétszer 10-15 kilcsiket. Meg végre megkaptam az éves uszodabérletet, amit egyből ki is próbáltam!!
Mármint nem csak a bérletet de az uszodát is.
Kezdenek rövidülni a napok egyébként. 8-9 körül jön fel a nap (már ha nem szakad az eső és nincs hurrikán szél. persze olyankor is feljön csak én nem látom) és 5 körül már sötét van.

Viszont mindig van finom lazac a boltban ami így néz ki miután elkészítettem:

A pénz, amit kapok bőven elég. Sőt ebben a hónapban félre tenni is tudok majd! Az első hónap picit ráment a tudatlanságra meg a keresgélésre, így többet költöttem, de szerintem most a dupláját fogom tudni félre tenni annak, amit pluszba költöttem szeptemberben. Úgyhogy nincs stressz!

Szóval ez egy kávézó és koncerthelyszín egyben! De van rádióállomás, egy rakás szoba ahol zenélhetnek a fiatalok, meg a nem fiatalok is, egy stúdió, ahol ezerrel nyomják a hiphopot a helyiek és táncterem.





A főnők meg a kollégák elég jó arcok! Próbálnak segíteni mindenben. Kaptam már mikrót (nem is sejtettem eddig milyen nehéz az élet mikróhullámúsütő nélkül), elvittek színházba, és november közepén  Tromsøbe is visznek magukkal pár napra. Ezzel úgy 5-600 eurót spórolok meg. (sajnos az utazás elég drága)
És nagyon remélem, hogy nem lesz felhős az ég mert akkor tuti, hogy látni fogom az ufókat a sarki fényt! Állítólag pár hete itt Stavangerben is lehetett látni, de szerintem kamu mert egyik ismerősöm se látta! És én se!
Szerdán és csütörtökön vagyok itt (mármint Metropolisban) és általában koncertek is vannak ezeken a napokon.
A színház egyébként mókás volt. Először úgy volt, hogy egy angol standupcomedyshowra megyünk, de azt az utolsó pillanatban lemondták a szervezők, így egy vicces norvég darabot néztünk meg, egy pici kultúrházban. Vagyis nem is pici mert elég nagy! Egy volt sörfőzőüzem van átalakítva.
Annak ellenére, hogy norvégul volt egész sokat értettem belőle, sőt még röhögni is röhögtem, mert tényleg vicces volt!
Előtte együtt vacsoráztunk az egyik főnöknél!
Színház után meg elmentem velük inni, azt is élveztem!

A másik helynek Bekkefaret a neve. Jobban mondva Brack ungdomsklubb. Itt is van kávézó, koncert terem, szobák hangszerekkel, playstation szoba nagy kivetítővel.
Sok sok program van, de a fő irány a zene.

13 - 16 éves gyerekek járnak ide kedden és pénteken délutántól estig.
Itt is mindenki kedves egyébként! (azt hiszem ezt többször nem írom le)
Mivel nagyjából mindenki zenél mondtam az egyik főninek, hogy szívesen dobolnék. Erre következő nap mikor beléptem a szobámba/irodámba egy dobszerkó fogadott! Sok mindent még nem tudok, de igyekszem. Meg időm is van gyakorolni.
Ez a csapat is hívott már meg vacsorázni (és el is mentem), kaptam egy rakás fagyasztott húst, amiből egy hónapig elvoltunk. Sajna már elfogyott!

Na egyelőre ennyi majd jelentkezem, meg teszek fel több képet csak esőben nem akarom eláztatni a telefonom!

Ha det bra!

Trip to Trondheim

Last week I was at an on-arrival training at Selbustrand 1 hr ride from TRONDHEIM!
Here in Norway they dont measure distance in meters or kilometers but in hours because even if the city is only 60 km far, it could take one and a half hour to get there because of the mountains and fjords.
Selbustrand is a little village with around 5 houses and a big folkhighschool (the place where we lived during the week). Im so sorry but I forgot to take pictures of the school, but it was pretty cool, with a lot of facilities incl. swimmingpool, billiard etc.
I got a lot of informations about the programs/projects, Evs, Axa insurance, but the most important thing was I met a lot of funny and some less funny people:)

It was a bit strange that we had meals 4 times a day!
Breakfast: 8:00
Lunch: 12:00
Second lunch Dinner: 15:00
Evening meal: 19:00 (19:00 is in the evening???)

This area is prefect for hiking (I know its true for whole Norway) full with a lot of lakes. They are crystal clear and its strange but you can drink from them! I did it as well and it was delicious!

Trondheim

Of course churches are everywhere
but this one is pretty nice!

Its Trondheim from a tower (restaurant) which is spinning at the top! Its a bit annoying when you try to eat there! I was quite dizzy...
But the view was unique so it was worth the little sickness!!!

Anyway, I really enjoyed the trip!

I start working in this week so...

Hellllloooo everyone finally I arrived to Stavanger so I'm starting to write my frenetic blog from now!



The city is located at the south of Norway at the coast, so the weather is changing all the time.
So far its sunny and warm but the winter is comming...:)






Im living with three other people from different part of Europe! Jose the Spanish guy, Charlotte the German and Léa the French girl.
Everyone has his/her own room and we share the rest of the house. The livingroom is the central point, we spend most of our time here.

About the city: The people are nice, everybody speaks English, which makes life easier for me.
Everything is made of wood, if not, its covered by wood:)
I had some previous knowledge about the cost of the living but its better than my expectations. The meat, the alcohol and the public transport are expensive but except these three the prices are like in a big European city! So you can get used to it easily!

some examples:

half kilo of white bread: 7 kr

half kilo of whole wheat bread: 25 kr 

(guess which one I usually buy...)

one kilo of chicken breast 100 kr

one beer in a shop: 25 kr

one beer in a bar: 75 kr (or more)

Monthly bus ticket: 650 kr

1 krone = 36 HUF

Usually people drive really slow here. The speed limit in the city is 50 km/h, on the highway its 100 km/h. Though the bus drivers think they are rally drivers and drive the buses like a Porsche...
Another strange thing comparing to Hungary is nobody wants to kill me if I wanna cross the road!They stop their cars and wait until Im at the other part of the road! Really amazing:)

Street art is quite popular here! You can always find some hiding paintings in the city!
